Wikileaks co-founder Julian Assange arrested in London

Wikileaks co-founder Julian Assange has been captured at the Ecuadorian government office in the British capital, as per London Police.

The warrant for arrest was issued by Westminster Magistrates’ Court for neglecting to surrender to the court, as per reports provided by BBC.

Assange took shelter in the embassy seven years back to maintain a strategic distance from removal to Sweden over a rape case that has since been dropped.

Ecuador’s leader Lenin Moreno said it pulled back Assange’s shelter after his repeated violations to international conventions.

He has been arrested at a focal London police headquarters where he will stay, before being exhibited under the watchful eye of Westminster Magistrates’ Court as soon as is possible.
