Slogans in the favour of Muttahida Qaumi Movement’s founder Altaf Hussain have been chalked on walls of Karachi, ahead of MQM-Pakistan’s planned rally today (Friday).
The wall chalkings, spread throughout the city, read:
“Boycott 30th December, Boycott Nishtar Park.”
Moreover, people have been demanding the boycott of MQM-Pakistan, pointing at the reason that the party cannot work without its founder.
Muttahida Qaumi Movement Pakistan, under the supervision of Dr. Farooq Sattar, has organized a rally in Karachi to demonstrate that the party’s strength hasn’t faded yet.
The leaders of MQM-P including Faisal Sabzwari and Farooq Sattar are confident that the rally will attract a massive crowd and it will be a feat of political strength. Therefore, people against MQM-P have started chalking walls of Karachi, demanding for a ban.
Speaking to the media on Thursday, Dr Farooq Sattar said, “Karachi belonged to MQM, it still belongs to Karachi.”
MQM broke into two separate groups after anti-Pakistan speech by Altaf Hussain on 22nd August.
