Muslim woman dragged along pavement by Hijab

In another horrific Islamophobic attack in London, a Muslim woman was dragged along the pavement by her hijab. Two white teenagers followed the hijab clad woman down a popular shopping street and launched an uncalled assault near Chingford.

As stated by eye- witnesses, the attackers attempted to rip the woman’s hijab off her head and dragged her on the ground, before fleeing the scene.

A waiter at a nearby Turkish restaurant saw her struggling onto a chair outside the terrace and went to see what had happened with the unfortunate girl:

“We thought she was a customer so went out to ask what she would like, but she was shaking and crying – she said she was attacked. They tried to take off her headscarf and she was dragged down and along the floor. We had to help her to walk to get her inside.”

Paramedics from the London Ambulance Service were hurriedly called to treat the victim and she was immediately taken to the hospital.

The suspects are being described as two white males, aged 17 to 19, clad in all black clothing.
