Karachi roads to be constructed on an emergency basis

Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah visited the construction sites throughout Karachi in order to check the progress today, 29-01-2017. He paid a visit to all the construction undertakers and companies, without any protocol, and demanded details of the work being done along with the progression and estimated time period of completion.

Murad Ali Shah visited Baloch Colony, Tariq Road, University Road, Safoora to Cantt Malir Road, among other areas for inspection.

He ordered workers and the leading team to finish the construction of University Road, as soon as possible, as it is one of the most used roads of the city and the hub of traffic. He also commanded the proper maintenance of the drainage system, so the construction work may not deteriorate quickly.

Syed Murad Ali Shah also questioned the slow progress and ensured that every work would be completed under his supervision with efficiency. Finally, Sindh authorities are waking up to the endless problems created due to the construction work throughout the city.
