According to the Times of India, a top BSF official posted at the Gujarat Frontier revealed that Pak Rangers taunt Indian soldiers at sectors where Indian and Pakistani border posts are located opposite each other on either side of the border with statements like;
“If you are hungry, please come over. We have food here.”
The top BSF’s post also claimed that the ISI was delighted at Tej Bahadur’s social media posts that revealed essentials, which according to them were being illegally sold in the market by their higher-ups and officers.
“The ISI of Pakistan and terror outfits operating from across the border are taking advantage of the social media posts of the Indian jawans, which demoralises the BSF,” claimed the BSF official.
Indian authorities have also ordered an inquiry into the social media posts of another BSF soldier – Navratna Choudhari, who also alleged corruption within the Indian army camps on the borders. He is presently situated at Gandhidham, Kutch, as head constable (ministerial).
