Fear strikes among Muslim women wearing hijab just hours after Trump Win

Horror and fear swept through Muslim countries after Donald Trump was confirmed as President of the Unites States after months of anti-Islamic rhetoric.

A Muslim student at San Jose University was attacked just hours after Trump was made the president.

Esra Altun was walking back to her car when someone grabbed her hijab from behind and yanked it backward. She struggled to breathe as the man pulled hard at her head scarf inside the third floor of the West Garage at Fourth and San Salvador streets.

Several Muslim women have reported Trump supporters attempting to rip off their hijabs, which cover the hair, while others said their families have advised them to stop wearing headscarves in fear of further attacks.

It happened a day after Trump was announced as the president now we don’t know if it’s just the coincidence or something else. I believe now it’s time for America to bind the wounds of division. It’s time for people to come together as one.
