Farooq Sattar and other leaders planned May 12 massacre in MQM Headquarters

Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) MNA Kamran Farooqi has claimed that the head of present MQM-Pakistan Farooq Sattar was involved behind a mass murder in the 12th May Baldia Town factory carnage.

MQM MNA was under investigation by the law enforcement agencies since a few days. He has now come out with the claims regarding one of the deadliest events in the history of Karachi. Mr. Farooqi has asserted that the massacre and violence was planned in MQM headquarters Nine-Zero on May 10, 2007.

As revealed by Kamran Farooqi, the session was attended by Farooq Sattar,  Aijaz Shah, Abid Chairman, Farhan Shabbir and Hammad Siddiqui.

His startling statement mentions the suo motto behind the brutal bloodshed:

“Either do a massacre or lockdown Karachi and don’t let lawyers reach airport.

“It was also instructed to throw the bodies in different areas after enclosing them in sacks,” he added.

He also revealed that Tahir Plaza was set on fire after a command from MQM headquarter Nine-Zero to teach the lawyer’s leader advocate Naeem Qureshi a lesson. Moreover, Lyari sector was given Rs3.2 million by MQM headquarters to buy weapons during a period ranging from 2008 to 2009.

The lawyers, mentioned in the statement, were to welcome the then Chief Justice of Supreme Court Iftikhar Chaudhry.

Earlier arrested suspect had also revealed that the plan to set a fire in the Baldia Town Factory was organized at the sector office of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM).
