Faisal Sabzwari, acclaimed Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) leader, returned to Karachi on Saturday, late night. The prestigious leader had left the country due to security reasons.
The MQM leader also visited the temporary headquarters of what’s now left of the MQM. Mr. Sabzwari was warmly welcomed by new head of the party: Farooq Sattar and others.
Faisal Sabzwari, while speaking to the media, said that his party is the victim of external forces who want to break it down. He also said that MQM faced violence and rigging in the recent by-election of 8th September.
On the other hand, commenting on the MQM’s leader Altaf Hussain’s anti-Pakistan’s statement, he said that the words left his quite “disappointed”.
MQM’s current leader Farooq Sattar stated, on the occasion that, Faisal Sabzwari left the premises with his permission due to some security and life threats.
