Naz Shah, the British Pakistani Labour MP from Bradford West has claimed to take every possible action to have Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) declared as a terrorist organisation.
Talking at a program – ‘Naya Pakistan’ on GEO News, she said that a British judge had held MQM responsible for the killing of 200 policemen in Karachi. She further said, “Cases against MQM chief, Altaf Hussain, should be put on the fast track,” adding that London police might take time but a strong case would be made against MQM founder.
Earlier today, UK condemned the violence perpetrated in Karachi on August 22 following an anti-Pakistan speech by MQM founder to party workers outside the Karachi Press Club.
However, according to officials, the Interior Ministry has received its first official response from the British government on the violent incidents after which possible actions are predicted in the near future.
