Air Chief Marshal inaugurates Martyrs Monument at PAF Museum

 

Air Chief Marshal, Chief of the Air Staff Pakistan Air Force, inaugurated martyrs Monument at PAF Museum in Karachi, today. The Chief not only laid a floral wreath at the monument but also offered Fateha and special prayers for the martyrs of the 1965 and 1971 wars.

During his speech at the inaugural ceremony, the Air Marshal said that PAF has a proud history when it comes to the soldier’s sacrificing their lives. Our brave sons of the soil have always responded to the call of the nation with unparalleled courage for a cause greater than life defense of Motherland.

He further said that the Shuhada of the air force are held with great esteem and highest honor due to the sacrifices they have made for the future of Pakistan. He declarthat this monument will pay a rich tribute all the martyrs who lost their lives with courage and bravery.

“Each name engraved on this monument is a complete chapter in itself of our illustrious history in all its grandeur” he enforced.

Apart from the prestigious officials of the PAF and other forces families of war veterans, Shuhada and retired PAF officers also took part in the ceremony.
