Sindh Government and MJSF partners to provide assistance to combat the Coronavirus

The recent Corona outbreak has paralyzed economies and has brought the world economic system to its knees. With more than 700 positive cases in Pakistan and still counting the Sindh Government moved towards a city-wide lock down, Sunday night to avoid the spread of the deadly virus. The lock down is expected to last for two weeks.

With shortage of hospitals, ventilators, Intensive Care Units (ICU) and increasing numbers of Corona patients in the province. Sindh Government and MJSF (Mahvash and Jahangir Siddiqui Foundation) have partnered to provide complete assistance to combat the Coronavirus. Committed to the nation and it’s welfare, the hospital in Sehwan will now be utilised for all patients to provide better treatment and healthcare facilities.

The hospital in Sehwan is a first of its kind Advanced Medical Facility with various medical and clinical facilities with modern technology equipment. The hospital has the capacity is to deal with more than XX patients and is operation in partnership with Indus Hospital.

MJSF communicated the good news through its social media assets. This is something we should learn from, in the hour of need private sector should extend their support to the government and help the nation come out of this crisis.
