According to the survey conducted by World Economic Forum, Women work 50 minutes more per day than men. The report says, most of the single mothers work overtime in order to support their family and expenses of their child. The gap in economic opportunity has increased since 2008. Approximately over a quarter of billion women have entered the workforce in a decade. Although men do more paid work as compared to women, women still spend their day on unpaid work such as cooking, housework and childcare.
