There are quite few people who dare to dream and even fewer who actually act upon their dreams. They enter the world with exceptional endowment. People inherit certain qualities and traits that make them better suited for leadership. They have certain inborn characteristics that very few people have that help them grow and become leaders.

There’s a difference between learning a skill & mastering one. All remarkable leaders have a history behind their success which nobody knows about. These people are the ones born with exceptional abilities, tackle every situation effectively, and whatever situation they face, they stand strong and never give up. They transform their weaknesses into their strengths.


Leaders are born, NOT made. They have an opportunity to recognize themselves that they already are a leader. When people describe a born leader they generally talk about their personality, characteristics, confidence and courage. There is definitely an argument to this statement that if these traits are added up being a leader then why are these people who have these traits not seen as leaders? And what if an individual who doesn’t have these characteristics and wants to be a leader? This is about being a leader, not about being a manager, there’s a difference.

A leader has a different perspective, different way of thinking and a different way of doing things. He always sees things differently, and this is why they stand out in the crowd.  They do not follow, they lead.

Why leaders need to take time to think?

The assumption we make while when people take time to think is that they are day dreaming or that they are slow. We don’t spend much time thinking because we are too fond of thinking less and acting upon it more, and be more productive instead.

Leaders like Nelson Mandela, Steve Jobs, Mahatma Gandhi, Abraham Lincoln, Bill Gates, Henry Ford, each one of them has a different and unique personality, style, trait and leadership skill. However, what is common among them is that they always expressed their own style, never compromise of who they are, their purpose and their unique life story.



Great leaders and entrepreneurs always accept their flaws and work on it until they overcome it. They spend their time in gaining an understanding of their strengths and weaknesses. They know what they want and why they want it. They invest their maximum time in the development of their vision and wisdom.

It’s important that as a leader you take time to develop your personal vision, purpose and more importantly your personal leadership philosophy. To become a leader or a good entrepreneur you must become yourself, become the maker of your own life, separating who you are & who you want to be.
