The German auto maker Volkswagen is all set to launch two new models in Pakistan with the completion of its manufacturing plants for T6 (transporter range) and Amarok models. For this purpose, Volkswagen has asked for the collaboration of Premier Systems Private Limited. PSML is the authorized importer of Audi in Pakistan.
With the help of PSML, the German giant will lay the foundations of its T6 and Amarok’s plants in the country. During its discussion with the media outlet, Premier Systems stated:
“Volkswagen believes that such robust vehicles are a must in Pakistan. There will be a large dealer development and the target is to have 40 dealerships across the country.”
No more details regarding the launch have been revealed yet, however the sources have confirmed that Volkswagen will hire German drivers to test the compatibility and the structure of roads in Pakistan. The drivers will then be asked to give their feedback based on which, the due changes would be made.
It has also been disclosed that Pakistan Refineries’ decision to produce high-quality diesel from this July, has led to Volkswagen’s decision of entering into Pakistani market.
