Uber rival, ‘Grab’ deals with start-up ‘nuTonomy’

Southeast Asian private car ride-hailing company, Grab, has joined in a partnership deal with start-up company, nuTonomy, which last month launched its driverless taxi trial in Singapore.

The deal brings about a collaboration where Grab users will be able to use the app to book nuTonomy cars for driverless rides in a small district of the city only.

However, these cars still have backup drivers, just in case you go on wondering.

The announcement came about as many car and technology companies around the world are now stepping up their experiments with self-driving cars.
