Earlier this week, Toyota has announced that its compact-sized Kirobo Mini, claimed to be a “communication partner,” will be released for the market early next year in Japan.
The little robot is the smaller version of the astronaut robot Kirobo that had visited the International Space Station in 2013.
The reason behind the manufacturing of ‘Kirobo Mini’ is to take part in more down-to-earth affairs. It is up to 4 inches in height, and can communicate through expressions and gestures, according to Toyota officials.
The robot is said to go on for sale in Japan early next year, with an estimated price of US $400. Whereas, pre-orders will start by the end of this year.
