Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) is starting more flight operation on three routes to facilitate passengers of Peshawar and Multan. According to official sources these three routes would be started from next month.bPakistan International Airlines (PIA), under its new management, is growing with every passing month.
The national flag-carrier is closing down the loss-mounting international routes and re-introducing flights to previously suspended routes.
The national flag carrier started booking for Peshawar – Sharjah route. The booking has also started from Peshawar – Al-Ain route, according to travel agents association.
This is for the first time that the national flag carrier is starting eight new routes in less than eight months. According to official sources the PIA has also started cargo service from Sialkot to European destinations. They said that cargo capacity up to 12 tons had been started from Sialkot to Paris and Barcelona.
According to PIA’s official Twitter handle, the Peshawar-Sharjah flights will operate twice a week, every Thursday and Sunday.
“PIA is expanding its wings to new horizons! Adding new flights from Peshawar to Sharjah. Starting 21st February 2019 flying twice a week; every Thursday and Sunday,” airline’s Twitter said.
