Pak Suzuki increases prices of its Alto Variants & Bikes

Pak Suzuki Motor Company Limited (PSMCL) has raised prices of its Alto variants, Suzuki Alto VXR and 660cc Alto AGS, by Rs70,000 and Rs85,000, respectively, effective from October 1, 2019.

The circular issued by Pak Suzuki to its dealers has mentioned the new prices of its cars. The price of Suzuki Alto VXR is increased to Rs1, 308,000 as compared to its earlier price of Rs1, 238,000. The price of 660cc Alto AGS variant has been increased by Rs.85, 000 to reach Rs.1, 518,000. These prices are inclusive of ex-factory price and freight charges.

It is worth mentioning that Pak Suzuki recently increased the price of Alto and demanded an additional Rs 23,000 from all customers who had pre-booked the vehicle.

Following that, the vehicle was being sold for Rs. 1,325,000 for the pre-booked customers and the latest price hike has now taken the price of the same Alto AGS to Rs. 1,518,000.

Suzuki circulated a notification and informed the dealerships regarding the price hike. Many remain puzzled by the company’s decision to increase the price as there has been a shift in dollar price either.

The new prices of 660cc Alto are as following:

Model Old Price (Rs.) New Price (Rs.) Difference (Rs.)

Alto VX (old) 999,000 (New Price) 1,238,000 (No air-conditioner model)

Alto AGS (old) 1,433,000 (New Price) 1,518,000

It is worth mentioning that Pak Suzuki recently increased the price of Alto and demanded an additional Rs. 23,000 from all the customers who had pre-booked the vehicle.
