Instagram – Facebook – Snapchat, our world is revolving around these pretty similar mysteries, which we call social networks on a similar page. Snapchat just had to make an entry and insecure Facebook & Instagram did not leave a stone unturned to copy it to the core.
Facebook owned Instagram recently announced that more than 200 million people are now using its Insta stories, obviously copied from Snapchat, which is way up than the statistics which hinted at 150 million in January.
The user base milestone achieved by Insta just today leaves behind Snapchat stories, which reported 161 million daily users before IPO of its parent company Snap last month.
Instagram’s growth has been great in terms of the productivity and user engagement, as it reached the mark of 150 million daily users in just months of its launch in January. The feature was initially launched on 2nd August.
In order to take an edge over Snapchat, Facebook is soon going to roll out ‘sticker tools’ for Insta, which will allow the use of stickers in selfies.
Facebook can’t seem to face defeat from Snapchat, which is why it has left no area uncovered to make its Instagram more engaging and appealing for the users.
