EBM explores opportunities in the global market

Aiming to expand its global reach, English Biscuit Manufacturers (Pvt.) Limited (EBM), the leading biscuit manufacturers of Pakistan, is representing Pakistan at the Gulfood Exhibition 2019.

While speaking to the media at the occasion, the Managing Director and CEO of EBM, Dr. Zeelaf Munir, said, “Quality has always served as the foundation of consumer trust in our products. Therefore, we strive to ensure that they are at par with international standards. Our goal is to invest in research and development to provide high quality nutritious biscuits for consumers across the globe. We want to make Pakistan proud by further strengthening our presence within international markets with the help of over five decades of biscuit making expertise.”

Director Business Development, Shahzain Munir added, “Gulfood is an ideal platform as it provides great exposure to companies and creates numerous opportunities to meet potential business partners and build long lasting relationships.”

Gulfood Exhibition 2019, held in Dubai from February 17 to 21, is the largest annual food and beverage exhibition attracting over 100,000 visitors, 5000 professionals and corporates from over 120 countries across the globe. EBM’s presence as the largest biscuit manufacturers of Pakistan reaffirms their commitment to growth and expansion in global markets and establishing a greater international footprint.

The Company is continuously investing in their production lines to not only meet the increasing local demand but also cater to the rising level of consumption across global markets. Currently, EBM is exporting its products to over 25 countries including the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Oman among other Middle Eastern countries, as well as the USA, UK, Canada and various European and African markets.
