We didn’t know it all happened but 4 years ago, one of the most talked about social platform Orkut bid us farewell as Facebook and later Instagram became the biggest social media sites around the globe.
Just like what we see today on Facebook, Orkut back then was a platform that had kids and adults of all ages hooked as they allowed everyone to stay in touch with one another over the internet, which was the easiest way back then. Similar to Facebook, one could write statuses, share testimonials, update their profile, and much more.
Orkut Is Coming Back As Hello
But the social media platform soon saw a drawback and was shutdown in 2014 as it saw the last of its days, or we thought it did. Rounding it up in 2018, Orkut is all set to say Hello to the world once again!
Returning to the internet completely rebranded as ‘Hello’, the founder of the platform just launched Hello in India and has introduced the new and improved Orkut to the world.

Now that Facebook is down under hot waters, facing extreme backlash after the data breach Cambridge Analytica scam, Google is all set to make the most of this opportunity and pull in users who are looking for an alternative platform. This is for sure the best time to welcome Orkut back into the social media world after a long gap of 4 years.
So, are you ready to say goodbye to Facebook and Hello to Orkut?
